The DP7 is Audix's 7-piece Drum Microphone Package, which encompasses the D6 - the premier kick drum microphone, D2 and D4 microphones for the toms, an i5 ideal for snare drums and guitar cabinets, and two ADX51s for superior overhead miking. All components can be conveniently stored and transported in the included road case, making the DP7 a one-stop solution for high-quality drum sound, whether live or in the recording studio.

The DP7 package provides all the essentials for achieving impressive drum sounds. The D6 is an excellent choice for kick drums, featuring a frequency response of 30Hz-15kHz and a cardioid pick-up pattern that doesn't require finding the drum's "sweet spot." The i5 is ideal for snares, with a cardioid polar pattern, a uniform frequency response of 50Hz-16kHz, and the ability to handle sound pressure levels above 140 dB.

For dynamic sound from drum toms and congas, the D2 can accurately reproduce the warmth and punch without the muddy, indistinct "boom" common in other microphones. The D4 is perfect for low-end sounds, providing an extra "oomph" to your kick drum, bass amp, and other low instruments with its flat, linear response. It's particularly useful for floor toms when used in conjunction with the D6.

The versatile ADX51 pre-polarized condenser microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern is suitable for various applications in live events, studios, and broadcasts. It offers a smooth uniform response over a frequency range of 40Hz-20kHz, making it an excellent choice for overhead miking.
